Detectives investigate stalking incident in St Albans

Brimbank Sex Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are appealing for public assistance after a woman was stalked in St Albans on 17 June, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a woman was walking from the St Albans train station on Main Road East when an unknown man yelled out to her about 10pm.

The man was wearing no pants and masturbated before following her for a short time.

He approached her on two separate occasions with pants pulled down and again masturbated in front of her.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian or European in appearance, aged 20 to 30-years-old with short dark hair and a beard.

He was wearing a dark hooded jumper with light coloured sleeves and three-quarter tan coloured pants and no shoes.

Investigators have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
