Melbourne North Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a theft from a business in Carlton earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a man wearing a white long sleeve top, a red and black jacket and black pants entered a business on Swanston Street, Carlton at approximately 4.20pm on Wednesday 14 November.
While inside, he stole a number of construction tools and left on foot via Swanston Street.
Investigators have released images and CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
