Devonport Man Charged With Burglary And Stealing, TAS

Following a number of shed burglaries in the Devonport area over the last month, police have today arrested and charged a 40-year-old Devonport man with, Tasmania Police say:

  • 4 counts of Burglary
  • 1 count of Stealing
  • 2 counts of Trespass
  • 1 count of Attempted Aggravated Burglary, and
  • 1 count of Unlawful Possession.

He was remanded in custody to appear before the Devonport Magistrates Court later today.

Police remind people to lock their sheds and garages when not in use and for anyone who has had theirs entered in recent weeks but has not reported it to police to contact them on 131 444.
