Two charges have been filed at the Bendigo Magistrates Court under section 76 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.

WorkSafe alleges that on 8 December, 2017, DHHS threatened to alter the position of an employee to his detriment because he had raised issues or concerns about health and safety.

WorkSafe further alleges that on 21 December, 2017 DHHS did change the employee's position to his detriment for raising health and safety issues and concerns.

The matter will be heard on July 30.
