Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Dillon who is missing from Avondale Heights.
The 9-year-old was last seen in Brentwood Drive about 5.40pm today.
Police and family hold concerns for Dillon due to his age.
He is described as 135-140cm tall with short dark hair and was last seen wearing a blue top and black shorts with stripes on the side.
Dillon may be in the vicinity of Brentwood Reserve or the Maribyrnong River.
Police have released an image of Dillon in the hope someone can provide information on Dillon's current whereabouts.
