Certain household problem wastes cannot currently be collected from our Community Recycling Centre as a result of a fire at a Cleanaway recycling facility.
Residents are asked to keep paints, solvents, aerosols and automotive oils stored safely at home until the collections can resume.
Several solutions are being considered to minimise disruption and to allow collection of these problem wastes to begin again as soon as possible.
Other problem household wastes can still be dropped off at your local community recycling centre.
