Brisbane City Council wishes to advise of disruptions to CityCat, CityFerry and CityHopper services on Thursday 20 December.
This is due to industrial action being taken by some Transdev employees, the contracted ferry operator, as enterprise agreement negotiations between the operator and unions have stalled.
Expected service levels are as follows:
- CityCat services will operate at hourly frequencies
- CityHopper services will operate at normal frequency between 9:00am and 9:00pm
- The Bulimba cross river ferry will operate as normal throughout the day
- The Norman Park cross river ferry and Kangaroo Point triangle service will not be operating
Commuters should consider other transport arrangements including regular bus services which ordinarily service the vicinity of ferry terminals.
