Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man who was admitted into a Melbourne hospital some weeks ago, Victoria Police say.
On arrival at hospital, the man did not have a wallet or any identiftying documents with him.
Hospital staff have been unable to communicate with the man to establish his identity and they would like to establish his medical history to ensure he receives appropriate care.
He is of average height and build with grey hair, blue eyes and a full beard.
An image of the man has been released in the hope someone recognises him.
Anyone who has information regarding the identity of this man is urged to contact Southbank Police Station on 8635 0900.
