Water police have been called to a mystery boat that was found drifting in Port Phillip Bay this morning, Victoria Police say.
The blue blow-up dingy was located in the south channel at about 9.30am by a passing charter vessel.
Clothing and food items were located on board the boat.
At this time no one has been reported missing or overdue, but police are keen to speak to the owner of the boat to confirm their safety.
Investigators have released photos of the boat in the hope it will assist in identifying the owner.
