Police are investigating the alleged theft of a dog from a home in Reservoir, Victoria Police say.
Officers have been told the dog was stolen from large dog cage, which was located in the
front yard of a property on St Vigeons Road around 11.30pm on Wednesday 12
December.
Iron is a seven-month-old male, black and tan, long haired German Shepherd.
Investigators have released an image of Iron in the hope someone may recognise him.
A white Holden ute was seen in the area prior to the theft.
