Donate big for Tassie's dogs

The Dogs' Home of Tasmania plays an integral part in caring for abandoned dogs across the State.

The annual Button Day has been the Dogs' Home's longest running fundraiser for the past 40 years, and is run across the state in Smithton, Burnie, Devonport, Launceston and Hobart.

This year, the Dogs' Home has a target to reach $30,000, with the funds going towards caring for the many dogs housed throughout the organisation's four homes.

The fundraising efforts won't only go towards ensuring all dogs in care are looked after before being rehomed, but will also go a long way to supporting the Dogs' Home's major refurbishment of all four homes.

With Dogs' Home volunteers sporting their orange vests about to hit the street to shake a tin to raise money for the charity, I would encourage all to dig deep this Button Day and help support our furry friends.
