Casey Highway Patrol investigators are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on the Princess Highway in Doveton earlier this year, Victoria Police say.
At about 7pm on Monday 25 July, a blue Mitsubishi Magna Sedan veered of the Princess Highway and struck a tree, killing the 36-year-old Noble Park man who was the driver and sole occupant.
Investigators believe another car was travelling behind the blue Magna when the crash occurred, but did not stop at the scene.
Police have released a CCTV image of a vehicle in the hope that the driver will come forward and be able to assist with the investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
