A driver has had his car impounded after being detected drink driving and travelling at 77kms over the speed limit in Mulgrave earlier this mornin, Victoria Police sayg
The 21-year-old Hampton Park man was allegedly driving at 177km/h in a 100km/h zone on Jacksons Road when intercepted by police.
The driver was conveyed to the Dandenong police station where he was breath tested with a result of 0.087per cent.
The man’s BMW sedan was impounded for 30 days, incurring a cost of $895.50.
The driver is expected to be charged on summons with speeding, speed dangerous and drink driving.
