Drink-driver caught after Mount Gambier crash, SA

A woman has had her licence suspended for a year after being caught with a high drink-driving reading at Mount Gambier yesterday, according to SA Police.

Police will allege that just after 5.30am, patrols were called to Crouch Street South after reports that a car had collided with a stobie pole.

The female driver underwent a breath test, which returned a positive reading of 0.215.

The 42-year-old Mount Gambier woman was reported for aggravated driving without due care and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, and was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice.

Her car was impounded for 28 days, and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
