A woman travelling with a child in the car has been charged with mid-range drink driving in after being stopped within Sydney city, NSW Police say.
Just after 8pm yesterday (Friday 23 March 2018), police stopped a BMW sedan on Cowper Road, Woolloomooloo, for a random breath test.
Officers spoke to the driver, a 47-year-old woman, who had a 10-year-old boy in car, before conducting a road side breath test, which returned a positive result.
The woman was arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis and returned a positive reading of 0.087.
She was charged with middle range PCA and her license was suspended.
The woman was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 17 April 2018.
