Drink driver lucky to only lose licence, SA

A 29-year-old man is lucky to only lose his licence after rolling his ute in Strathalbyn early this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 1am, Saturday 21 January, Mount Barker police came across a Toyota Hilux ute that had rolled on Adelaide Road, Strathalbyn.

The driver and sole occupant received only minor injuries and was treated by paramedics before a breath test was conducted. The man from Para Hills was reported for drink driving and aggravated drive without due care after he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.116.

The man was issued with a 6 month instant loss of licence and his rolled car towed from the scene. He will appear at the Mount Barker Magistrates Court at a later date.
