Drink driving charge follows Blacktown crash, NSW

A man has been charged with mid-range drink driving after his car hit a power pole in Blacktown overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services attended Walters Road, Blacktown, about 2.45am (Saturday 10 February 2018), after reports a Nissan Skyline hit a power pole.

The 20-year-old male driver – and sole occupant of the vehicle - was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The man underwent a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a positive result.

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station where he allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.128.

The man was charged with mid-range PCA and granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on 16 February 2018.
