A driver has been charged after a pedestrian was struck by a car Sydney's south west overnight.
About 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 3 September 2025), emergency services were called to Taber Place, Bradbury, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 60-year-old woman before she was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene which has been forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
The driver of the vehicle – a 24-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing, before he was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday 9 September 2025.
