A man has been charged after a fatal crash at Rowland Flat in the Barossa Valley last night, according to SA Police.
At about 11.45pm yesterday, Monday 6 February, police and emergency services were called to an area on Steingarten Road after reports that a car had rolled and crashed.
The passenger in the car, a 34-year-old Evanston Gardens man, died at the scene. The male driver suffered minor injuries.
The man’s death takes the State’s road toll to 6, compared with 11 at this time last year.
Today, Major Crash investigators arrested the driver, a 28-year-old Evanston Gardens man, and charged him with cause death by dangerous driving. He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 2 May.
