Driver critically injured in crash in Londonderry

Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash at Londonderry, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Londonderry Road just after 1.30pm today, after a Nissan sedan left the road and hit a pole.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, has been taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The 19-year-old male passenger has also been taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment. His condition isn’t known.

Police from Penrith Local Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Inquiries are continuing.
