A driver has died following a single vehicle crash in the state's west overnight
About 10.15pm (Wednesday 12 November 2025), emergency services were called to The McGrane Way, Tullamore about 90km northwest of Parkes, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Central West Police District arrived to find a Nissan utility had collided with a tree.
The driver – a 27-year-old man – died at the scene.
Emergency services also located a dog in the back of the utility; however, due to the extent of its injuries, the dog was euthanized.
Police established a crime scene, and an investigation was commenced into the cause of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
