A female driver has died after a single vehicle crash in the state's south west this afternoon.
About 2:30pm today (Monday 16 March 2026) emergency services were called to Burley Griffin Way, Combaning, about 13km east of Temora, following reports of a crash.
Officers from Riverina Police District attended and found a car had collided with a tree.
The driver of the car – a 54-year-old woman and the only occupant – died at the scene.
She is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident has commenced.
As inquiries continue, anyone with information including dash cam footage, is urged to contact Temora Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
