Driver Dies After Two Vehicle Crash - Acacia Gardens

A driver has died after a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's west.

About 1.10pm on Thursday 8 May 2025, emergency services were called to Sunnyholt Road, Acacia Gardens, following reports of a sedan and a truck have collided.

The driver of sedan – a 65-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics however, he could not be revived.

The driver of truck – a 36-year-old man – was subject to a roadside breath test, returned with a negative result.

There were no other injuries reported due to the incident.

A crime scene was established, and officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
