Sadly another motorist has died on our roads this evening following a collision between a car and a truck, north-west of Portland., Victoria Police say
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision which occurred on Portland-Nelson Road in Gorae West, between Holmes and Maccuspies Road’s, just before 9pm.
The driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male truck driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Portland-Nelson Road will be closed for some time, between Foleys and Beaugleholes Road’s, while police process the scene
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
