A person has died when their ute left the road, crashed and caught fire about 50km east of Griffith overnight.
Emergency services were alerted about 9.30am today (Saturday 1 November 2025), when the burnt-out ute was found just off Kolkilbertoo Road, Barellan.
The body of the driver was found inside; however, is yet to be identified.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish identity and confirm cause of death.
