Driver, dog die after ute rolls on NSW south coast

Police are investigating following a fatal crash in the Shoalhaven area earlier today.

About 11.10am Wednesday, a Holden Rodeo utility was travelling along Forest Road, Wollumboola, when it left the roadway and rolled.

The male driver and a dog travelling in the utility died at the scene.

While the driver is yet to be formally identified, he is believed to be aged 45.

Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
