Driver flees after crashing into a house at Punchbowl, NSW

Inquiries continue after a car crashed into a house in Punchbowl, with the driver fleeing the scene after the crash, NSW Police say.

About 2.30am (Sunday 25 February 2018), a Holden Commodore was traveling Arthur Street, Punchbowl, when it left the road and crashed into a house.

The front of home was extensively in the crash. A male person wearing a black jumper and cap was seen running from the vehicle north along Arthur Street.

A 92-year-old woman in the home at the time was uninjured.

Police from Campsie Police Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
