Driver Nabbed After Sydney Pursuit

Police have arrested a man after a pursuit across Western Sydney today.

About 10.15am (Wednesday 4 February 2026), police were patrolling the Granville area, when they attempted to stop a Toyota sedan on Bridge Street.

When the driver allegedly failed to stop officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command commenced a pursuit.

The pursuit continued throughout the Granville, Parramatta, Guildford, and Milperra area before ending in Condell Park, when the sedan crashed into Honda Civic on Edgar Street near Eldrige Road.

On arrival officers arrested the driver - a 36-year-old man - following a foot pursuit before taking him to Bankstown Police Station.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
