A 50-year-old Hillside man has attended a police station overnight to speak to investigators in relation to an incident in Brunswick this weekend, Victoria Police say.
Investigators were looking into an incident on Moreland Road in Brunswick Saturday night that left a 27-year-old Brunswick West man with injuries.
The Hillside man has spoken with police and has been released without charge pending further enquiries.
The Brunswick West man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
