Driving instructor charged, NSW

A driving instructor will face court charged after allegedly continuing to teach without an instructor’s licence in Broken Hill, NSW Police say.

Officers from Broken Hill Local Area Command, along with investigators from Roads and Maritime Service, commenced investigations into driving operators around Broken Hill area.

Following investigations, officers arrested a 47-year-old man yesterday, who was found allegedly operating a driving instructing business without an instructing licence.

He was taken to Broken Hill Police Station and charged with act as driving instructor whilst unlicensed.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court on Tuesday 21 February 2017.
