Drug warrant arrests in Seaford

Two people have been arrested following a search warrant in Seaford yesterday, Victoria Police say.

Mornington Peninsula based Southern Metropolitan Divisional Response Unit investigators in conjunction with Drug Enforcement Agency (USA) agents executed the warrant at a Fortescue Avenue house.

Earlier in the day a 26-year-old Seaford man was arrested in Frankston, a 23-year-old woman was arrested at the Seaford house.

The man has been charged with offences against the Commonwealth Criminal Code including attempting and conspiring to import a marketable quantity of border controlled drugs.

He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 January 2019.

The woman was charged with possessing a drug of dependence and was bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates’ Court on the 4th of March 2019.
