Drugs seized, woman charged, NSW

A woman is due to appear in court, charged after police seized drugs from a home in Broken Hill yesterday, NSW Police say.

Police from Barrier Local Area Command formed Strike Force Solstice to investigate the manufacture of prohibited drugs within Broken Hill.

As part of on-going investigations, a search warrant was executed on a home in Clarke Street, Broken Hill, about 4.30pm yesterday.

Police arrested a 39-year-old woman at the home, after she was alleged to be in breach of her bail conditions.

The woman was charged with breach of bail and was refused bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court today.

During the search, police seized ‘Ice’, cannabis, and 330ml of liquid, suspected of being methylamphetamine oil. This is to be forensically examined.
