Police are investigating after a man was robbed of his e-scooter at Elizabeth Grove this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to Harvey Road, Elizabeth Grove just before 1pm on Sunday 16 August by reports a man had been pushed off his e-scooter and was unconscious in the roadway.
The victim, a 55-year-old Woodcroft man, who luckily was wearing a helmet, sustained head injuries when his head hit the ground. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing a man aged in his 20s, with a dark complexion, curly black hair, and wearing black clothing, ride off on the e-scooter south along Harvey Road towards Fairfield Road.
Investigations are continuing.
