An Eastwood woman is laughing all the way to the bank after mistakenly blocking our calls this morning before realising she'd won a whopping $15 million in last night's Oz Lotto draw.
The Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1678, drawn Tuesday 14 April 2026 and pocketed the entire $15 million.
In addition to her division one bounty, she also scored division 3 seven times bolstering her total prize to $15,028,514.
"I can't believe it. I feel so lucky!" she exclaimed when finally speaking to us.
"I don't even know how to put into words how I feel. I'm shocked.
"I actually blocked your number this morning because I thought it was fake.
"I've been playing my whole life!
"Now I can buy a house. It's amazing."
The winning mum was sitting with her daughter when the news was confirmed, making it an extra special moment.
"I have to make sure she'll be fine to get home now! I think she's a bit dizzy," the winning woman's daughter laughed.
"It's great news for my mum. She's worked so hard her whole life and she deserves it."
The winning 2-game System 8 QuickPick entry was purchased at Eastwood Centre Newsagency, Eastwood Centre, Shop 17, 160 Rowe Street, Eastwood., Eastwood.
Eastwood Centre Newsagency manager Kris Zhu said she was thrilled to sell a division one winning entry of such magnitude.
"It's such exciting news and I'm so happy for our customer!" she said.
"I took over the store around a year and a half ago but in its 20 years of operating, we've had about 15 division one winning entries sold. This'll be the 16th.
"Congratulations to our winner. Enjoy your life and all the best with your prize.
"Here's to another winner soon The legend lives on and the next winner could be you!"
