An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued at 12pm Tuesday January 27 by Etheridge Shire Council.

Helicopter support not available today due to bad weather.

Helicopter support may be available tomorrow if conditions improve.

SHELTER IN PLACE.

Remain at evacuation point at high part of Einasleigh-Forsyth road as conditions may worsen in Einasleigh overnight.

STAY AWAY FROM DANGEROUS POWERLINES AND INUNDATED HOUSES.
