An elderly woman missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches has been located.
The 89-year-old was last seen at a care home in Belrose about 12.30pm yesterday (Sunday 20 August 2023).
When she did not return and could not be located, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following a public appeal and an extensive multi-agency search, the woman was located near Perentie Drive, Belrose, about 9am this morning.
She has been taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for assessment.
