Elderly woman robbed at Port Adelaide, SA

Western Adelaide Police are investigating the robbery of an elderly woman at Port Adelaide this morning, according to SA Police.

Just before 10am on Saturday 17 September, the victim, who uses a mobility scooter, withdrew money from the Bendigo Bank ATM at the Port Canal Shopping Centre. She was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her purse from her mobility scooter and ran off.

Fortunately, the victim was not physically harmed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, about 180 cm tall, with a thin build, shoulder length black hair and a small goatee, wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and black jeans.
