Elwood Foreshore is one of our City's premier places, attracting locals and visitors.
This important site, however, is facing a range challenges, from fading amenity and increasing demand to ageing buildings and infrastructure and poor overall accessibility.
This is why our Council undertook community consultation on a proposed Site Plan to address the site's issues and opportunities progressively, without affecting the foreshore area's function, natural assets or unique character.
An adjusted draft Site Plan, informed by this consultation, is due to be considered at a September Council Meeting.
