Emergency Alert Issued for Bundaberg Region

An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued at 8.25pm Monday 9 March by the Bundaberg Regional Council.

This is a FLOOD WATCH AND ACT message from the Bundaberg Regional Council.

Burnett River inundation possible, major flood levels already exceeded at Walla Flood Gauge.

Forecast flood levels are expected to reach similar size to December 2010.

People should move to higher ground, warn others.
