Emergency crews responding to house fire, West End

Police are investigating a fire in West End this morning, May 31.

Around 3.45am, police were called to an Archibald Street property following reports of a house on fire.

Upon arrival, the property was fully engulfed.

No one was home at the time and the house was destroyed.

A neighbouring property was also damaged due to the fire however no one was physically injured.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations into the cause are underway.
