Police have charged a 29-year-old man with several property offences after he allegedly trespassed and broke into multiple homes in Brisbane's south Friday afternoon, 5 June.
It will be alleged that around 3pm, officers received multiple reports of a man trespassing and stealing from residences on Miles Platting Road, Manchester Street, Liverpool Street, London Street, Gangar Close, Pirra Close and Gaskell Street.
Police received a further report that the person was last seen near a licensed venue on Gaskell Street, and officers, including Police Dog (PD) Vince, were deployed to the area.
Following a successful track, PD Vince located the man, and he was taken into custody near Levingston Road around 4pm.
The 29-year-old Goodna man has been charged with four counts of trespass, three counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, and one count each of unregulated high-risk activities, offence to buy or possess S4 and S8 medicines or hazardous poisons and contravene police direction.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 26 June.
