Enter premises with intent and Robbery charges at Golden Beach, QLD

Police have charged a man and two boys following an alleged robbery at Golden Beach yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged that at about 2pm, a 29-year-old Depot Hill man has entered a business on Landsborough Parade and threatened a female employee with a knife whilst demanding money.

The man allegedly ran from the store with a sum of cash and other property to a nearby carpark where he was met by two 16-year-old boys from Golden Beach.

It is alleged the man gave the two boys a quantity of cash and some items of clothing he was wearing.

The man was later arrested by police in Nelson Street and charged with one count each of enter premises with intent and robbery whilst armed.

After further investigations, police located the two boys.

One of the boys was charged with one count each of robbery and accessories after the fact and was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.

The second boy was charged with one count each of accessories after the fact and possessing a drug utensil.

The man was refused police bail and is due to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
