A new portal has been launched today by the Efficiency and Productivity Unit.
This portal provides an avenue for state servants to provide ideas for initiatives that can be implemented to improve the delivery of programs and services.
Treasurer, Eric Abetz, said the Government is inviting frank and fearless feedback.
"This is a Government that believes in strong finances, strong services and strong families, which together deliver a strong future for Tasmania," the Treasurer said.
"Efficiency means we must get the most out of our resources, ensuring that every dollar of taxpayer money is well spent.
"We are working together to ensure that we can deliver on this and move our state forward.
"This is why we're now calling for feedback from the public service - the people who know it inside and out.
"Inconsistencies, duplications, where technology can be better used and more - we want to hear it.
"This is about delivering better outcomes for Tasmanians while maintaining and improving service delivery.
"There are many ways we can improve program and service delivery - we can work smarter, we can empower staff and we can improve the systems that support all Tasmanians."
