Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 26-year-old woman who escaped police custody from a Gladstone medical facility yesterday evening.
Marion Kay (pictured) left the Park Street facility around 6pm and has not been located.
Police hold concerns for her wellbeing and the safety of others as she requires ongoing supervision and medical attention.
She is described as First Nations, about 162cm tall with a slim build, dark red hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing grey track pants, a black shirt and was handcuffed.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged not to approach her but to contact police.
