EXCESSIVE DRINK DRIVER CAUGHT IN ROWVILLE

A man has allegedly returned a positive blood alcohol content reading after police intercepted him in Rowville on 21 August, Victoria Police say.

Police attended Eildon Parade reserve after reports that a silver Kia Cerato had crashed into a fence about 1pm.

The 52-year-old Rowville man, who was the driver and single occupant of the vehicle, underwent a breath test and returned a positive blood alcohol content reading of .344

His licence was immediately suspended.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic-related offences (please confirm)
