The Glasshouse Regional Gallery has successfully received a grant under Create NSW's 2021/2022 Local Government Authorities Arts and Cultural funding for their application to run a Creative Learning program called EXPLORE EXCITE IGNITE!

This carefully curated program provides opportunities for regional artists and community members of all ages to participate, learn and grow through a diverse range of accessible courses, classes and events.

Targeted for all ages and abilities, with a focus on creating employment and professional development opportunities for artists and arts workers, allowing them to expand their skills and develop their audiences. The learning program aims to connect regional artists and community members to exclusive programming opportunities to bridge the gap between metro and regional offerings through industry partnerships.

Bridget Purtill, the Glasshouse Regional Gallery Curator, is excited to lead this excellent program, creating more cultural opportunities for our community.

"EXPLORE EXCITE IGNITE is designed to initiate, strengthen, connect, and grow cultural opportunities within our region and beyond. Programs like this ensure our region's creatives viability and strengthen our cultural community pride and place," said Bridget.

This collection of creative activities will be accompanied by a dynamic exhibition program, with the next block of installations featuring the latest body of work by Australian artist Anna-Wili Highfield.
