Expressions of Interest open for Araluen Cultural Precinct Community Reference Group

The Araluen Cultural Precinct Community Reference Group is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from community members who have a demonstrated commitment to the ongoing development of the Araluen Cultural Precinct.

The Community Reference Group provides advice to the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Culture, regarding the Cultural Precinct's ongoing development and strategic operation. Group members facilitate dialogue between the Precinct's management and the community, providing an avenue for community input and feedback.

The Community Reference Group has six community representatives who are appointed for a two year term. Two specific positions represent and are nominated by The Alice Springs Town Council and The Friends of Araluen. Group meetings are held up to four times a year.

Expressions of Interest are now being called upon for new members with applications closing 13 April 2020.
