A new train timetable will make it easier for Bayside residents to travel direct to Southern Cross Station and add more services to the Sandringham line each week.
Under the timetable changes, the Sandringham line joins up with the Werribee, Laverton and Williamstown lines, resulting in 155 new weekly services.
Each weekday, trains will run every 10 minutes between Sandringham and Newport from 6.30am to 8.40pm.
Weekend services will start earlier and run every 20 minutes from early morning to midnight.
The changes also mean easy connections for Bayside residents to regional trains, SkyBus and attractions on the western side of the Bay through direct services to Southern Cross.
Some services will end at Flinders Street, so check online for information.
