-- FANDOM Grows Commitment to Region with Localized Entertainment Destination

FANDOM -- a leading global entertainment media brand -- announced today the launch of an Australia edition of its website, available now at fandom.com.au. The Australia edition of FANDOM features entertainment content with a global and local voice, inclusive of news, features, videos and social conversations. It is also home to more than 400,000 fan-driven communities. FANDOM has an audience of more than two million monthly uniques, is the number one multi-category entertainment brand and is a top five global entertainment site among P18-34 in Australia*. Globally, FANDOM garners almost 200 million monthly uniques**.

"Australia is a critical market for both FANDOM and entertainment fans," said FANDOM President and CEO Craig Palmer. "FANDOM is the largest multi-media entertainment brand in the country and as we looked to continue our localized expansion in key international areas, it was only natural that we launch a market edition in Australia. As the blockbuster entertainment season kicks off with releases like the Avengers: Infinity War movie and Sea of Thieves video game, we're thrilled to provide Australian fans with a daily destination where they can always be in the know about the fandoms they care about."

Esteemed entertainment media veteran Jeremy Ray, who joined FANDOM in September 2017, serves as Managing Editor for the local edition. Joining Ray in the Sydney office is a regional sales team, led by VP of Sales APAC Eric Welles. ---
