Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Croydon Hills late yesterday evening, Victoria Police say.
It is understood a man lost control of his motorcycle on Bemboka Road about 11.20pm before colliding into a utility driven by a family of four from Croydon Hills.
The rider and sole occupant of the motorcycle died at the scene while the family, consisting of a 42-year-old man, 41-year-old woman and two girls aged 12 and nine were not injured.
Knox Highway Patrol are investigating and yet to formally identify the deceased man.
